About
Aloha and Hello! I'm Nitasha. I offer beautiful island photography at down to earth prices. Your moments are important, so let's capture them in a timeless way.
My style is neutral, clean and crisp. I want your images to last you a lifetime. I don't follow crazy trends, but know how to make them happen if you want.
I know how precious time is with our little ones (no matter how old they are!), and while we can all take photos with our phones, we can't be in all of them. Let me capture your sweet moments with your lover, kids or just you! Tiny newborn feet, wisps of hair, stained clothes, muddy knees, soaked clothes, sandy toes.... I make it all worthwhile!

More About Me
I'm a mama to three kids that drive me crazy, and a wife to a man I am crazy about! I started dabbling in photography back in 2011, and proceeded to do product and body art photography for several years. I did henna body art for many, many years.
Once I had my firstborn, I knew I had to capture all the details so I wouldn't forget later in life. Slowly, I grew my collection of camera equipment and experience. Home photos turned into product photography, portraits and events, and I even started capturing engagement sessions, parties and branding lifestyle sessions. It was only when I had my last baby that I decided to switch gears and focus on newborn, children's and family photography. Children, no matter how old, need to be held. Let me help you preserve those moments.
I was raised as an Ismaili Muslim by my lovely parents and grew up in Virginia. My identity as a human is to be a good human. I give when I can, help where I can, volunteer formally and informally when possible, and just leave the space I'm in, in a better state than when I came. We are all stewards of the earth, so it's important to me to recycle, save, reuse, and consume less.
I was formally educated and graduated with a bachelors of arts with a double major and double minor (I was a bit of an over-achiever :) ), I never really used my degree professionally, although I do use it in everyday life. (majored in sociology and international studies, with a minor in Spanish and women & gender studies). One day, in the near future, I'd like to go back to school and learn more.
I have worked in HR (freelance and corporate), and dabbled with paralegal services, while also being entrepreneurial by having an event and ecommerce business from 2009-2023 (when I sold my business while waiting for my last baby to be born). As I sit here and write this, I'm amazed at how many things I've actually done in my life so far!
I enjoy swimming in the ocean, picking up trash from the beach where I'm swimming, and walking. I love being with my family and am a stay at home parent.
Here are some more quirky things about me:
I'm a certified open water diver
I've bribed immigration officers in Mexico and Belize
My favorite country I've travelled to is Argentina
I used to live in Canada part time
I've been to Paris, and didn't really love it.
I've lived in London, England and didn't love that either
I love public libraries and used book stores
My kids are screen free at home, all the time.
I haven't owned a TV in over 10 years
I make all of my newborn photography accessories
You will definitely catch me wearing my most favorite pair of crocs (leopard print, super dirty, but so comfortable)
I have to have coffee in the morning
I love cooking, but hate baking.
I'm a self taught photographer--no formal education in it
