Photography that doesn't cost an arm and leg

When someone is asking for photography that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, please don't get offended as a photographer. It's by no means to insult your business or art. Some people, just have different mental budgets for certain activities. Yes, it's expensive on Maui, and yes there is so much more that goes into photography than just clicking a few buttons. And many people do not understand that.

Not everyone goes to a gallery to buy art. Some people go to their local big box retail store and get what goes with their aesthetic and furnishings. Some people shop online. Others support artists by purchasing directly from them through social media, galleries, online stores, etc. And at the end of the day, it's all about the budget they have in mind, what calls out to them, and what they can afford. 

I cringe when photographers call out visitors on their arm and leg comments, and criticize them (the visitors)for spending $(insert any number here) for accommodations and not wanting to spend that much for a photography session. Again, it's all about the budget for everyone. So instead of getting offended or critical of visitor comments, why don't we just continue to offer value for what we do, focus on developing more skills, and enjoy photography, no matter what someone comments in a social media group.
